CR2 may be precious...but he has his moments. Last Monday we had a moment, a long 24 hour moment! The day went as follows:
5:50am - We hear CR crying, time to get up. Dad goes to get CR2 out of the crib as usual and finds the child soaked in urine . He has peed through his diaper, and his onesie, and the sheets need to be changed. You would have thought we gave him a large soda before bedtime.
7:30am - Time for breakfast. I put CR2 in his highchair and prepare his normal breakfast. Blueberries, Strawberries, and 1/2 of an organic apple breakfast bar. I get my coffee, pour myself a bowl of cereal and prepare to sit down at the table. CR2 proceeds to take a piece of breakfast bar in each hand and SQUEEZE with all his might. The sticky hands go straight to his hair. Yuck!! He then starts to test me by dropping one piece of fruit to the floor at a time. More squeezing, more bathing in sticky breakfast bar, and a mean little grin plastered on his face. Help me lord!
8:30AM - CR2 is playing with "glug glug" the funny looking stuffed lion in the living room. I am attempting to get my morning workout in. And that's when I hear it...gruuuunnntt, gruuuuuunnnt, gruuuunt. And we all know what that means! CR comes down stairs and goes to pick CR2 up. I let him know that we may want to take him upstairs for a changing. We head up the stairs, make the hand-off, and CR exclaims that his arm now smells like poo! I would say it was about an 8 wiper!
The rest of the day was equally as stinky, and 6pm bath time could not come soon enough. He played in the dirt, we sweated profusely on a walk in this lovely Atlanta heat, and of course meal time is always a treat.
Our little guy is all BOY! And as CR puts it..."If CR2 were a dinosaur, he would be The Stinkopotomas"
Love to you all!
