That's What She Said...: Florida Vacation 2011 - First Few Days at the Florida House

We packed up the car and headed to Florida late in the afternoon on Wednesday, June 22nd. Charlie was unusually well behaved on the 9 hour drive. He watched movies, ate snacks, and talked about meeting Mickey Mouse :) He fell asleep for the last hour or so of the trip...and when Gramma and Poppins greeted him at the Florida house the first word out of his mouth was "Mickey"! I think we did a good job of prepping Charlie for vacation!

On Thursday we took a leisurely trip to Ybor City, picked up some cigars for Dan at the Fuente store, and had a nice lunch.

We headed to G.G.'s for dinner that evening where we met Gramma after a long day of work. It was Cowboy Night at Lakehouse West...oh boy! The outfits were something else and the line dancing was impressive. Charlie was the hit of the evening!

We even made it to the beach on Friday! However we did leave early because it was impossible to eat lunch on the beach...we were attacked by the most disgusting Seagulls! Barf!!!
